About me
By exploring the different aspects of modern identity, I express my art through digital media. I seek to use nontraditional tools that reflect virtual culture such as digital photography, 3D, and various multimedia software. Having a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Media has exposed me to different software available to modern day artists and my Master of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art and the Computer has helped me focus my work on what is relevant to me and what I feel is cutting edge today in the art world.

I am heavily influenced by the MMORPG world and would label myself just as much as a gamer as an artist. Most of my work intends to blur the physical with the virtual, into what I call
virtual shapeshifting.

Appropriation is also a constant factor in my work as I believe that in today's age of automated avatars, profile images, forum signatures and image searches, it is difficult to identify oneself without using something "borrowed."
